Hi!
Let me introduce myself:
I,
Elisabeth Steele, the owner and manager of Parliament Equestrian
Center, have been working in the horse industry as a
professional trainer, instructor and equine caregiver for 34 years.
As
a trainer and instructor, I have experience in a wide variety of disciplines including Dressage, Combined Training,
Hunters, Jumpers, and Hunt Seat Equitation.
Areas of Expertise:
-
I enjoy teaching all levels
of rider.
-
I enjoy training all types and levels
of horses.
-
I particularly like training Thoroughbreds and
teaching their owners how to ride them.
-
Problem solving in regard to training
issues in difficult or young horses.
-
Dealing with timid riders and fear
issues.
-
I enjoy getting horses and riders
out of the arena and introducing them to new experiences such as trail riding and jumping obstacles in a natural
setting.
-
As an equine handler and care giver I have always done my own work around the barn. I firmly believe that your relationship
with a horse begins on the ground not on their back. I like to take a “whole health” approach to training
horses. What a horse eats, how their feet are shod, how they are handled and
cared for all contribute to a horses’ performance under tack. My life rotates around the horse’s
schedule so they may have consistent and quality care.
Qualifications:

in The United States Pony Club and acquired a broad interest for all disciplines. I was fortunate to work with
